CAIE is a provider of international qualifications, offering examinations and qualifications to 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries. It is a division of University of Cambridge and offers primarily school-leaving qualifications for university entrance such as the Cambridge International General Certificate of Education – Advanced Level (Cambridge International GCE A-Levels).

In addition, CAIE provides Key Stage examinations for primary and secondary schools internationally. The Cambridge Pathway is designed for students aged 5 to 19. Its wide range of subjects and flexibility gives Calcutta International School the chance to shape the curriculum to
make it relevant for our student while maintain the ethos of the school.

The four stages lead seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each stage – Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge Upper Secondary (IGCSE) and Cambridge Advanced (A levels) – builds on the learners’ development from the previous one, but can also be offered separately.
